New this year, I've decided to donate 15% of my net commissions to charities. As my client you get to choose which non-profit organization will benefit.  

I have helped people buy and sell real estate since 2003, in both Boulder, Colorado, and Haleiwa, Hawaii, where I was raised. Boulder has been my home for 14 wonderful years.

What do I bring to the table? A strong desire – and the expertise necessary – to do the best job possible for each individual client. I’m an excellent problem solver, but I also try to anticipate and resolve issues before they even become problems. My goal is to make each transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible.

When clients are interested in investment properties, my experience as a former property manager and current owner of four multi-use buildings comes in handy. I can advise on 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, commercial and residential tenants, pro forma versus actual cap rates, major capital improvements, updating historic buildings, and more. Even homebuyers can benefit from looking at their purchase as an investment, in addition to a great place to live.

My previous career as a journalist contributes to my marketing expertise. With a BA degree in literature from UCLA, I served as senior editor of Rocky Mountain Sports Magazine in the early '90s. I was one of the founding editors of Trail Runner Magazine and still write occasional freelance articles on business and travel for local and national publications.

In my spare time, I’m often playing with my family in Colorado’s incredible backcountry or volunteering at my daughters’ schools. I am a strong supporter of the local cycling community and know the area’s trails – paved and dirt – like the back of my hand. My clients may choose between touring homes by bicycle or car, and receive a free guided tour of our local hiking trails or mountain bike rides.
